CMSC 2018 - Information for attendees
Deadlines
Abstract submission: Monday, March 26, 2018
No abstract submission will be possible after the deadline.
Free on-line registration: Friday, April 4, 2018
On-site registration will be available for CZK 2000.
Conference language
The main language of the conference is English for 2018. Oral and poster presentations and their abstracts should be thus prepared in English.
Oral presentation
Talks are planned for 20 minutes. It is recommended to leave a short room for discussion at the end. Presenters are kindly asked to upload their presentation in advance and to test its function and compatibility with the available system.
Poster and short oral presentation
The recommended format is portrait A0 (841 × 1189 mm). The poster session will take place according to the program and it is expected that the authors will be present at this time. It is recommended to install the posters at the beginning of the conference and leave them on for the whole duration of the event.
Newly introduced is the category of short talks associated with a poster. There are 5 minutes reserved for the introduction of the poster. The discussion is limited to a maximum of one question (in this case, it is recommended to prepare a talk lasting 4 minutes) otherwise the discussion will proceed during the poster session. This talk should be designed using the data shown on the poster. In this respect, it does not represent much additional work for the participant during her/his preparation for the conference. The presented combination of poster + short talk will be rated in the “poster prize competition”, with an attractive financial award for the top three places.
Lunch
Participants can order lunches during on-line registration. These lunches will be served in the cafeteria and cafe of the IMG AV ČR, which is located near the lecture hall.
Lunch includes soup and main dish (selection is available in the registration form) and a beverage.
