Czech Mass Spectrometry Conferences

Second annual Conference of the Czech Society for Mass Spectrometry will take place at the Faculty of Military Health Sciences, University of Defence in Hradec Kralove from October 17 – October 19, 2012.

Several company workshops will take place during the conference. The plenary lectures will be delivered by Dieter Gerlich (Fakultät für Wissenschaften, Technische Universität Chemnitz) and Miloš Novotný (Department of Chemistry, Indiana University). Lectures will be again organized into five sessions, while poster sessions are scheduled for both evenings this year. At the beginning of the first evening, the new book about the history of Czechoslovak mass spectrometry will be introduced. In addition, election of the new executive board is planned during the scheduled business meeting of the Society.

The previous year the conference was visited by 150 attendees and 22 lectures and 66 posters were presented. Thanks to contributions from our sponsors and conference exhibitors there is again no conference fee for members of the Society.
