Membership

We would like to introduce the recently established Czech Society for Mass Spectrometry (CSMS). The main goal of CSMS is to support dissemination of knowledge about mass spectrometry and to contribute to the more efficient networking of the professionals working in mass spectrometry and adjunct fields in the Czech Republic.

Because of the steadily increasing number of mass spectrometry professionals we considere useful to establish a new scientific organization that will help to mediate communication in the field of mass spectrometry and will provide information about career opportunities. The main event of the year will be the annual Czech Mass Spectrometry Conference. The very first one will take place in Hradec Kralove in October 2011. We would be happy if we could help to establish a tradition of an annual national meeting that already exist in most of the countries with a strong mass spectrometry community.

The membership fee was replaced by the conference fee, which is CZK 950 for regular and CZK 400 for students.

We hope that you will find this initiative interesting and that we will meet with you at one of the future events that will be organized by CSMS.
