Deadlines

Abstract submission: May 24, 2020
No abstract submission will be possible after the deadline.
On-line registration: May 31, 2020
(member of the society: regular 2500 CZK and student 1300 CZK) After this date, on-site registration will be available (on-site fee 5000 CZK).

Conference language

The main language of the conference is English. Oral and poster presentations including their abstracts will be in English.

Oral presentation

Oral presentations will be 20 minutes including the discussion at the end. Presenters are kindly asked to upload their presentation in advance and to test the compatibility with the system.

Poster and short oral presentation

The recommended poster size is A0 (841 × 1189 mm) in portrait orientation. The poster section will take place according to the program and it is expected that the authors will be present at this time. It is recommended to install the posters at the beginning of the conference and leave them on for the whole duration of the event.

The category of short talks is associated with a poster. There are 5 minutes reserved for the introduction of the poster. The discussion is limited to a maximum of one question (in this case, it is recommended to prepare a talk lasting 4 minutes) otherwise the discussion will proceed during the poster session. This talk should be designed using the data shown on the poster. In this respect, it does not represent much additional work for the participant during her/his preparation for the conference. The presented combination of poster + short talk will be rated in the “poster prize competition”, with an attractive financial award for the top three places.

Lunches

Participants can purchase a lunch ticket upon registration. These lunches will be served at the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences. Lunch includes soup, main course, dessert (gluten-free and vegetarian meals available) and soft drink.

Accommodation

Accommodation needs to be reserved individually. The organizers prepared a list of suitable locations.

Transportation

The Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences is located about 10 minutes within walking distance from the train station and 15 minutes from the bus station. Parking for cars in the center of Krakow is available at fee (12 EURO / day).

By car:

We don’t recommend approaching the conference venue by car directly. We recommend leaving your car at the dedicated parking place nearby.

Flying:

From the Kraków Airport by public transport: http://www.krakowairport.pl/en/.

By train:

The new Kraków Airport train station is located near the passenger terminal, at the rear of the multistorey car park. The connection is operated by Koleje Małopolskie (regional railways company operating in Małopolska Region). Trains are equipped with air conditioning, power outlets, Wi-Fi and ticket machines. All trains also have spaces for disabled passengers and persons with reduced mobility (PRM).
