About CSMS
Czech Society for Mass Spectrometry (CSMS) was established on 8/13/2010 at Palacky University in Olomouc. It is a registered NGO that meets all the legal and financial requirements given by the Czech law as defined by the civil association act 83/1990.
The existence of CSMS was possible thanks to the generous support from all six major global mass spectrometry companies. Palacky University is gratefully acknowledged for support and for allowing CSMS to establish its residence at the Department of Science.
The goal of the society is to assist further development of mass spectrometry in the Czech Republic and to support members and other persons interested in mass spectrometry in obtaining advanced knowledge in the field, present current progress and expand the general knowledge about mass spectrometry in Czech society. CSMS will work with foreign mass spectrometry societies, contribute to the further education of its members and organize seminars, conferences and workshops.
